Consultative Approach to Listing a San Jose Home for Sale

When a homeowner calls to discuss selling their San Jose home that triggers my consultation process. I ask a lot of questions. I see myself as a consultant first. When I understand what the seller’s goals are, and why they are selling, it helps me to create a plan and strategy for preparing the home, and the sellers, to put their home on the market. There is a lot involved in the process. There is far more involved than placing a sign in the yard and putting the property in the Multiple Listing Service. At least for me there is.

The sellers prepared their home for its photo shoot. A single property website was created with virtual tour of the property. Inspections were completed. All seller statutory disclosures were completed. Everything a buyer would need to make an informed decision was packaged together and made available for buyer agents to review and discuss with their clients prior to writing an offer.
