This is a Colony Green Condominiums market activity and home value report for February 2017. This report is comprised of statistical data extracted from February 1st through February 28, 2017 from our local Multiple Listing Service (“MLS”) as of March 1, 2017.

The above photo was taken in the early morning on February 18, 2017. The near freezing temperatures had caused heavy frost on the lawns. Many Colony Green residents were covering their plants at night. Baby, it has been cold outside. However, the spring-like weather is upon us in March and we are experiencing so warm temperature.

Slow to zero sales activity in the first quarter of the year is not uncommon for the community. You may find the 10 year review of Colony Green sales activity interesting. 

The community is located in Blossom Valley in San Jose, CA. The community is across the street from Martial Cottle Park on the Chynoweth side of the park.

Perhaps the market will heat up with the weather this Spring.  If we look at past sales in 2015 and 2016 the community might see 20 or so condos sell in 2017. With home values increasing many owners feel it is a good time to move up and many are moving out of the area.
