This location is convenient to shopping, dining and freeway access. Westfield Mall is just minutes away. Across Blossom Hill Road is an OutBack Steak House, Marie Callender’s, Juicy Burger, City Espresso, several fast food establishments and retail shops. The Cahalan Post Office is a block away. It’s also close to Highway 85. The farthermost end of this development at Chesbro abuts Highway 85.
An important tip for San Jose home buyers looking to purchase new construction. Know that the sales person works for the builder/developer. This means that you definitely want to hire an experienced San Jose Real Estate Agent to represent YOU. Make sure you have your San Jose real estate agent with you when you first visit and register at the sales office. If your agent is not with you when you first register then your agent will not be able to represent you.
Second important tip: Get a property inspection. Just because it is new construction does not mean there are no construction defects. This allows your agent to negotiate the repairs before escrow closes. You would be surprised what home inspectors find with newly constructed homes.

I’m from Texas and I don’t think Realtors are as smart there. Oh heck, I’m just going to say it: I don’t think people from Texas are all that bright anyway. But I really like your website.

talking about! Bookmarked.
I found this on my Google search for new construction. Thank you for educating me on why I want to hire my own agent rather than the people in the sales office. It makes sense, they work for the builder.

I wonder if there is a lot of new construction going on in San Jose. It seems to me that most of San Jose is already built out.
Good article. When I bought my new construction home I used my own real estate agent. I did not work with the people in the sales office. This is really good advice.
Home buyers in San Jose need to know that the people working in the sales office work for the builder. Buyers need to have their own representation.
The site style is ideal, the article is really great. Good job!
Stay with this guys, you’re helping a lot of people.
This is great information on new construction in Blossom Valley. Home buyers definitely want to hire an experienced agent like, Kathleen Daniels to represent them in their new home purchase.
Hi superb blog! I was hoping to start my own blog soon. Reading your posts is inspiring me. Thank you.
Prior to reading this I thought it was better to work with the new homes sales people. The sales people do work for the builder, not me. So it does make sense to have my own agent represent me.
Hey very cool web site!! There is lots of great information here regarding new construction.
I lived in San Jose many years ago. I am familiar with the area. I can’t believe after all these years someone finally built on that land. Great job covering the new construction.
I had a home inspection done on a new construction home and many defects were found. People think because it is “new” that there are no defects. Not true and yet another reason to have our own agent represent us.
We bought a new home in Dallas years ago. We did use our own agent to represent us. It is a good thing we did because she helped us “fight” with the builder to fix many defects we discovered after we moved in.
Some people like the idea of a “new” home versus a resale home. The perception that a new home may not have defects is a false one. It is important to get a new home inspected by a licensed and qualified inspector.
Appreciating the time and effort you put into your blog and detailed
information you provide. It’s great to come across a blog every once in
a while that isn’t the same out of date rehashed information.
Great read! I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m adding your RSS feeds to my Google account.
I do agree with all of the concepts you have offered to your post. Buyers need to hire an agent to represent them. Inspections are a must.
I’m not sure why but this website is loading very slow for me. I like to visit here often because you have such great information here.
I am actually delighted to read this web site posts which contains tons of valuable data, thanks for providing these
kinds of data.
Purchasing a new construction home can be a daunting process. I would always hire my own agent to represent me.
I would definitely hire my own agent to represent me on the purchase of a new construction home. The people in the sales office always feel pushy to me.
I bet you do a lot of new construction home sales. I cannot imagine anyone not hiring you after reading this post.
Thanks for helping me understand why I want to hire my own agent when buying a new construction home.
You certainly have a lot of great information on your website. This is helpful information to know when buying new construction homes.
I have been surfing on-line greater than three hours these days, but I never found any fascinating article like yours.
In my opinion, if all webmasters and bloggers made excellent content material as you did, the net shall be much more useful than ever before.
I’ve purchased several new construction homes in my life. I hired my own agent every time. I would never work with the sales people who work for the builder.
Excellent submit, very informative. You must continue your writing. I’m sure, you’ve a huge readers’ base already!
I would get an inspection with new home construction. I would also hire my own agent to represent me.
I agree with many of the other comments. I would get inspections and hire an agent to represent me with new home construction.
I actually ended up in a lawsuit with a builder because there were so many defects. I won the lawsuit. We cannot be too careful when buying new construction.
Oh my goodness! Incredible article! Thanks!
I truly love your website.. Pleasant colors. Kudos!
I was in construction for years. So many mistakes were made. You are wise to recommend a buyer get inspections.
I used to sell new construction homes. What you have to say here is spot on. We work for the builder not the buyer. Great post!

Great information on new construction. I like your video as well.
You certainly seem to know a lot about new construction and real estate.
I was a new home construction worker for over 10 years. I could write a book on the dirty ins and outs of all the short cuts builders take and how City inspections are “bought off.” You are wise to recommend buyers get inspections as well as hire an agent to represent them.
You’ve really captured all the essence in this subject area, haven’t you?
