Town of Los Altos Hills California
is considered a premier Silicon Valley residential community.
It is located adjacent to the City of Los
Altos. It is approximately thirty-five miles south
of San Francisco and seventeen miles north of downtown
San Jose. Los Altos Hills is 8.4 square miles. Incorporated
in 1956, advocates of incorporation were dedicated to
the "preservation of the rural atmosphere of the
foothills and orderly and unhurried growth".
The rolling hills and picturesque valleys make the Town
of Los Altos Hills distinctive. Creeks and wooded areas
make it aesthetically pleasing.
Los Altos Hills is home too many Silicon Valley executives.
Most homes are large with pools, sports courts and secondary
nanny or in-laws living units.
One acre is the minimum lot size. Los Altos Hills a
natural buffer between the more heavily developed urban
Bay Area and the coastal Santa
Cruz Mountains.
Los Altos Hills became the 14th city in Santa
Clara County on January 27, 1956. The population
of Los Altos Hills is approximately 8,000.
The Santa

in the Heritage House in 1996.
